The Great Un Reveal

GROUP EXHIBITION, ARTS PROJECT AUSTRALIA

DEVISED & CURATED BY THE SISTERS HAYES

The Great un Reveal was a collaborative project and group exhibition with several Arts Project Australia artists, devised and curated by The Sisters Hayes.

The Great un Reveal proposes that art making is a vehicle for self revelation or it’s elusion. The Sisters Hayes collaborated with 13 Arts Project Australia artists, where definitive lines between the artist and curator have been masked to unveil a shared fascination with life’s everyday curiosities, masquerade, disguise, personal facades and obsessions of semblance. Theatrically utilising installation, performance, costume, sculpture, video and photography, the artists manipulated portraiture as a strategy to both reveal and conceal.
